Chennai, Aug 14 (IANS) Krishnan Rajini of Moto Rev India and Deepak Ravikumar of Preethi Racing achieved a double apiece in the featured Superbikes and Group B (Open) categories in the third round of the MRF-FMSCI National Motorcycle Racing championship which concluded here Sunday.

As was the case in the first race run on Saturday, neither rider faced any worthwhile competition in the second outing as Rajini won by nearly 11 seconds and Deepak had about 12 seconds to spare when he crossed the finish line.

The results:

Group A (Super bikes, 600cc, 8 laps): Krishnan Rajini (Moto-Rev India) 1 (14mins, 35.944secs); Deepak Ravikumar (Preethi Racing) 2 (14:46.844); Rohit Giri (Preethi Racing) 3 (15:14.030).

Group B (Open, 4-Stroke, up to 165cc, 6 laps): Deepak Ravikumar 1 (11:53.728); Jagan Kumar (TVS Racing) 2 (12:05.342); Harry Sylvester (TVS Racing) 3 (12:09.333).

Group D (4-Stroke, up to 165cc, Open) - Race 1: Shyam Shankar (Moto Rev) 1 (13:17.298); A Prabhu Moto Rev) 2 (13:17.541); Sumit Lucas Toppo 3 (13:18.076). Race 2: Shyam Shankar (Moto Rev) 1 (13:10.618); D Dinesh Kumar (Moto Rev) 2 (13:11.354); A Prabhu (Moto Rev) 3 (13:12.022).

Group D (4-Stroke, up to 130cc, 6 laps) - Novice: Prativ S (14:26.975) 1; Rajesh Rathnakumar (TVS Raving) 2 (14:27.005); Abdul Wahab 3 (14:30.049).

Group D (4-Stroke, up to 165cc, 6 laps) - Novice: N Abhishek (Moto-Rev) 1 (13:25.585); S Madan 2 (13:26.353); Prativ S 3 (13:38.260).
