National Games: Jharkhand dominate in taekwondo, Services in rowing
February 15th, 2011 - 9:01 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Feb 15 (IANS) Hosts Jharkhand dominated in taekwondo by winning four of the 16 gold medals in the National Games here Tuesday.Of the four gold medals, three were won by females. Madhya Pradesh and Services won three gold medals each.
In rowing, Services dominated by winning three of the seven gold medals on offer. The rowing competition took in coal city of Dhanbad.
Manipur won two gold medals and are on top of the medals tally with 15 gold medals, seven silver and 12 bronze.
