Nate RobinsonAtlanta, Jan 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Nate Robinson returned to play with the New York Knicks, and how! He had been sitting in fourteen games straight, for the last one month, since Dec. 01, 2009, after he earned the displeasure of the coach of the New York Knicks, Mike D’Antoni. Matter had not improved after the coach had been blasted by Aaron Goodwin for having benched Nate Robinson, who plays in the position of the guard in the team. As a result of the interviews in the favor of the benched team member, Nate Robinson had been fined by the National Basketball Association.

However, Nate Robinson was not the one to give importance to any such hard feelings during the game. As he was sitting on the bench, Mike D’Antoni called out his name along with the others who had made it to the roster. Later on, Nate Robinson commented that he had not expected to be called into the game at all, and that he was grateful for the chance. He admitted that while getting into the court, he felt like a fresher, but that he knew that he was ready to give of his best. In fact, so very thankful was he, that he could have done anything the coach asked of him.

However, Nate Robinson’s performance did not show, even for a minute, that he not been playing in any of the games for the past one month. He made 18 shots, and four assists. He also managed to score 41 points, leading the Knicks to a 108-112 win against the Hawks. Even Mike Woodson, the Hawks coach, commented that they did not stand a chance before the dynamic performance of Nate Robinson.
