Vancouver, Canada, Feb 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Winter Olympics at Vancouver are not only the place where athletes meet to show off their athletic prowess. From the look of things, it seems as though it is all set to become the breeding ground for potential romances too. Figure skaters Evan Lysacek and Nastia Liukin are being rumored to be the latest lovebirds, or potential ones, at least. The two champion figure skaters have not only set the figure skating courses on fire with their antics, but the whiff of a romance brewing between them has considerably spiced up the cold Vancouver weather.

The two champion figure skaters had allegedly met at the NBC show “Skating And Gymnastics Spectacular,” back in 2008. Since then, they had allegedly been in touch, and gradually, became fast friends. Evan Lysacek himself is said to have commented that he had become really fast friends with Nastia Liukin back then, soon after thy had met. However, any suggestion of a relationship has been brushed off by both Evan Lysacek and Nastia Liukin.

Rumors about a romance between the two have become even stronger in the this Winter Olympics, considering that they seem to be really fast together, something that has not been missed by the paparazzi. Moreover, it is rumored that Nastia Liukin was the first one to congratulate Evan Lysacek on his gold medal. Moreover, they are known to help and support each other, as they both have admitted. However, some very close sources have maintained that the two athletes are nothing but very good friends. Moreover, Nastia Liukin strictly maintains her status in social networking sited to be “single.”
