July 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 49-year-old Nashville woman named Diane Bolton is all set to run her 51st marathon at Greece this October. Although participating in marathons has always topped the priority list of passionate runners, the case of Diane Bolton is a little bit different as the lady in this case began running back in 2003 when she was more than 40 years old. As per reports, although Diane Bolton started running back in 2003 it was not until 2007 that she went for her first marathon run.

In 2007, Diane Bolton went for three marathon runs reportedly and followed it up with three more in 2008. It was only in 2009 that Diane Bolton went on for 32 marathon runs making her number of marathon participation 38. Diane Bolton recently ran her 50th marathon run in Hawaii and is now looking forward to her 51st.

However it is not known for sure what had driven the lady to go for marathon chase after the age of 40. Diane Bolton had said that she wanted to run all her 50 marathon runs before she reached the age of 50. In October, the lady plans to run in Athens, Greece. The 50 States Marathon Club’s website mentions in its website that Diane Bolton belongs to a small group of females who have been able to run marathons in all 50 states. It had in its website listed 156 female runners from all over United States who have run marathons in different states. However, along with the fame that she is gaining due to her endeavor, the cholesterol level of Diane Bolton has also reportedly dropped by 100 points.
