Narang defeats Bindra to win gold in 10 m air rifles (Singles)

New Delhi, Oct 6 (ANI): In the mother of all shooting battles on the third day of the XIXth Commonwealth Games today, World Champion Gagan Narang beat Olympian gold winner Abhinav Bindra to win the gold in the 10 m air rifles (Singles).
Narang scored 703.6 points, while Bindra scored 698 points.
England’s James Huckle got the bronze medal scoring 693.5 points.
Earlier on Tuesday, Narang and Bindra won gold for India in the Pairs 10 m Air Rifle Mens event.
Bindra scored 595, while Narang scored 598.
Meanwhile, Indian shooters Ranjan Sodhi and Asher Noria won silver in double trap pairs event today. They lost to England, who scored 189 points.
