Paris, June 6 (DPA) Rafael Nadal clinched his fifth French Open title by beating Robin Soderling of Sweden 6-4, 6-2, 6-4 in the final in Paris Sunday.
The victory avenged the Spaniard’s defeat at Roland Garros last year when he lost to Soderling in the fourth round - his only defeat at an event where he had won his 37 other matches.
