Musharraf may send special plane for Gilani

Islamabad, Mar.23 (ANI): Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf is reportedly considering a proposal to send a special plane to Karachi to fetch Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) prime ministerial nominee Yousuf Raza Gilani for his oath-taking on March 25.
Though the nominated Gilani is not entitled to a special plane as long he does not take the oath of his office, the provision of special plane has become necessary because Gilani will be attending his eldest son’s wedding on Monday night in Karachi, and the oath-taking will take place at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday forenoon.
Gilanis eldest son, Makhdoom Abdul Qadir Gilani,getting married to Bashmina,the daughter of Pir Rashdi and granddaughter of Pir Pagara.
Gilani will be hosting the Valima reception for his son’s wedding on March 29 in Lahore,The News reported.
Gilani is close relative of Pir Pagara. He is the nephew of the first wife of Pir Pagara. The spiritual leader had divorced his first wife a few years ago and had a second marriage. Pir Pagara, 84, has three children from his second wife.
Gilanis family members who are in Karachi for the arrangements of wedding ceremony were happy to hear the news about his nomination as prime minister.
Pir Pagara had supported Makhdoom Amin Fahim for the prime ministers slot and claimed that Makhdoom is the only candidate who deserved this office.(ANI)
