Murray’s feels like an old man after Valencia Open triumph
November 10th, 2009 - 2:09 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, Nov.10 (ANI): An aching British tennis star Andy Murray has said that his Valencia Open triumph at the weekend has left him “feeling like an old man”.
Murray, 22, roared back after six weeks out with a wrist injury to beat Russian Mikhail Youzhny 6-3 6-2 and claim his sixth title of the year.
World No 4 Murray said his wrist feels good but that five matches in six days had taken their toll on the rest of his body and left him feeling more like twice his age.
The Sun quoted him, as saying: “I felt like a 50-year-old man after the semi-final match with Fernando Verdasco and was just limping around - it’s not good.” (ANI)
