Melbourne, Jan 25(ANI): British tennis star Andy Murray and his mixed doubles partner in the Australian Open, Laura Robson, may have formed a strong partnership over a period of time.

However, former Wimbledon junior champion Robson is still waiting for a 16th birthday present from Murray.

“I was a bit disappointed, I have to say. But I think he will get me something, because he was joking, saying he’s got me a Subway bag and stuff like that,” The Mirror quoted Robson, as saying.

“He’s definitely going to get me something. And then he also offered to give me a lesson in Doodle Jump. Very generous,” she added.

Doodle Jump is a game for the iPod that Robson admitted she was addicted to, but which Murray is now trying to beat her at.

“I had the highest score at 42,000 and Martijn (Bok, her coach) gave Andy his iPod and he spent about six hours playing it. I spoke to Jez (Green, Murray’s fitness coach) and he said, ‘Yeah, he was playing it at dinner and everything’,” Robson said.

“So, he’s got the highest score and I have to beat it, but it’s fair competition now so he can keep practising,” she added.

Murray and Robson helped Britain to the final of the Hopman Cup this month, but after Robson won her singles match, Murray lost his and they went down in the deciding mixed doubles to lose 2-1 to Spain. (ANI)
