Murali’s record tough to break: Sourav Ganguly
July 23rd, 2010 - 6:06 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, July 23 (IANS) Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly Friday congratulated Sri Lanka spin wizard Muttiah Murlitharan for his landmark feat of 800 Test wickets and said it would be tough to break his record.
“He has been a champion. I think his record of 800 wickets in Test matches will be very difficult to break. Murali has got better with age,” Ganguly said.
Muralitharan brought the curtains down on his illustrious Test career, claiming his 800th Test wicket in his last match against India Thursday in Sri Lanka.
