Mourinho eyes Man City striker Manu on loan
January 4th, 2011 - 3:02 pm ICT by ANILondon, Jan 4 (ANI): Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is eyeing Manchester City’s striker Emmanuel Adebayor on loan.
Mourinho desperately needs a striker as Argentinian star Gonzalo Higuain is struggling with a back injury.
Adebayor has started just two games for City this term and Real Madrid will try to get the 26-year-old on loan with a view to a 16 million pounds deal next summer.
The Spanish giants’ hopes could be foiled if City decides to hold out for a straight cash deal to balance the books alongside their 27 million pounds move for Wolfsburg’s Edin Dzeko. (ANI)
