Mourinho agrees to signing Sao Paulo playmaker
April 28th, 2012 - 4:32 pm ICT by IANSRio De Janeiro, April 28 (IANS) Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has reportedly given his consent to the signing of Sao Paulo playmaker Lucas.
The Spanish club is willing to pay a fee of 50 million euros for the 19-year-old to move to the Bernabeu before next season.
Earlier Lucas’ father Jorge Rodrigues confirmed Real Madrid’s interest in the young Brazilian international.
“Mourinho said that if there is anybody who is ready to go to Europe it’s Lucas,” Rodrigues was quoted as saying by Xinhua.
Lucas has also been linked with moves to Chelsea, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Paris-Saint Germain (PSG) and Manchester United.
