Mortaza, Kapali recalled in Bangladesh ODI squad for Oz series
March 28th, 2011 - 5:08 pm ICT by ANIDhaka, Mar 28(ANI): Bangladesh have recalled fast bowler Mashrafe Mortaza and batsman Alok Kapali for next month’s three-match one-day series against Australia.
Mohammad Ashraful, Junaid Siddique, Naeem Islam and Nazmul Islam were not named in the 14-man squad for the series beginning on April 9.
The Australian team is due to arrive in Bangladesh on April 4, the New Zealand Herald reports.
The three ODIs will be held at Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on April 9, 11 and 13.
Bangladesh squad: Shakib Al Hasan (captain), Tamim Iqbal (vice-captain), Mashrafe Mortaza, Imrul Kayes, Shahriar Nafees, Roqibul Hassan, Alok Kapali, Shuvagoto Hom, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Abdur Razzak, Suhrawadi Shuvo, Rubel Hossain and Shafiul Islam. (ANI)
