aleqm5iyg2kboiosizkbpp1a0dhdwirmxwSep 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Montario Hardesty, the rookie running back of Cleveland Browns is in bad shape after damaging a ligament in his left knee. For the player this is indeed an unexpected and unwanted development. Neal Gulkis, the team spokesman said that the player is being kept on injured reserve for some time. The game when he damaged his ligament was his first match with Cleveland Browns. He earlier had to give the training camp a miss owing to a bone injury. This is sad for the team as well as the team had pinned high hopes on him. His hopes are dashed for the present season, as everyone is assuming.

The career of the player has been affected badly by a spate of knee injuries. The team was willing to see how he performs before the Tampa Bay opener on September 4th. After receiving the injury, the player had to leave the playground using crutches which left all his fans quite worried. He went through the same fate 5 years back when he used to be a freshman in Tennessee. Eric Mangini, the coach of the Browns said in his statement that everyone is feeling bad for what happened to the promising player.

The Browns coach also said that Montario Hardesty has put in his best effort after getting drafted. This is the time the other players would have to contribute and fill in the void in the team, he said. Since he would not be able to play in this season, the team will pick Jerome Harrison in all probability as the starter.
