This is the sixth time, that they have headed for a Bowl game consecutively, which is a school record. Missouri finished the season by defeating its neighbor. However, once again it would face its other neighbor at the Insight Bowl. On the other hand Iowa finished the season with a score of 7-5 overall and 4-4 in league.
