Miracle if Man U finish Premier League season unbeaten: Redknapp

London, Jan 17(ANI): Tottenham Hotspurs manager Harry Redknapp believes that it will take some divine intervention for Manchester United to finish unbeaten in the current season.
United went back to the top of the Premier League table and kept their unbeaten record intact following a goalless draw at the White Hart Lane on Sunday.
United has 45 points from 21 games, while Manchester City has 45 points from 23.
“It would be a miracle if Alex got them through the season unbeaten. I couldn’t sit here and say United are on another level to everybody else in the League or they are going to walk away with the title,” the Sun quoted Redknapp, as saying.
“Sure, they may go the year unbeaten, it is not impossible. But I personally can’t see it. I think there are lot of teams who can beat anybody on any given day,” he added.
Redknapp further said that Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez’s exit has weakened manager Sir Alex Ferguson’s unit.
“United are top of the League and above where we are and want to be. But you can’t be as good a team as you were a year or two ago when you haven’t got Cristiano Ronaldo or Carlos Tevez,” the Tottenham Hotspurs manager said.
“I’m not knocking United, but you can’t tell me they are not a better team with those two in it. The result here at White Hart Lane makes me realize we are not a million miles behind the other teams at the top. Results and performances say we can’t be,” he added. (ANI)
