wwwwwe1Jan 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) No NFL fan would dare to call the New Orleans Saints as ‘Aints’ anymore. It would not be appropriate to underestimate the team after its resounding victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The team trounced the Minnesota Vikings with a score of 31-28 and it is heading towards the Super Bowl. Brett Favre made a mistake by tossing an interception in the territory of the rival team during regulations. The New Orleans Saints won the toss thereafter.

The NFL experts have taken the win of the New Orleans Saints quite seriously. The team has made a wonderful comeback and the days of its misery seems to be over. It practically did not have a home after Hurricane Katrina made a mess of the place 5 years ago. The renovation of the Superdome also played a pivotal role behind its landmark win. The fact was corroborated by the statement of Sean Payton, the coach of the team. As one can expect, the fans present in the Superdome became wild with excitement after the crucial field goal of Garrett Hartley brought victory to the team.

Drew Bress was visibly elated and said that he had been waiting for such a win for a very long time. He was a choice of the coach for the team and he has done a lot for the team too. The excitement of the fans was so high that their voice knew no bounds. The noise level recorded in the Superdome exceeded 100 decibel. The win has given the fans a cause to cheer about, but they are looking forward to the next game.
