Seattle, Washington, Dec. 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Milton Bradley, the outfielder who represented the team of Chicago Cubs, would be seen wearing the jersey of Seattle Mariners in the coming matches. The officials of the two teams have finalized the deal on Friday and the outfielder will now play for the Mariners.
Though Milton Bradley had signed a three years deal with the Chicago Cubs this year, the officials of the team decided to trade him before the completion of his tenure. The team officials have suspended him for his attitude and wanted to get him replaced with some other players. Jim Hendry, the General Manager of the team had regretted the decision of signing a three years deal with the player, who often threw temper tantrums. He was extremely disappointed with the way Milton Bradley dealt with his team members and finally traded him to Mariners.
Milton Bradley has gained a lot of attention for criticizing the team officials and accusing the atmosphere surrounding Chicago Cubs being responsible for their failure in the World Series games. Though the player has gained negative publicity for his behaviors, the officials of his new team are hopeful about his presence. Jack Zduriencik, the general manager of the Seattle Mariners consider the deal would have some positive impact on the team and improve their performance in the matches. He also believed that Milton Bradley, who could not adjust with his former team would be a better member in the Seattle Mariner and will give his best for the team. They have received Milton Bradley in exchange of Carlos Silva and $9million.
