Mike Tyson threw his first punch over dead pigeon
March 12th, 2011 - 4:41 pm ICT by ANILondon, Mar 12 (ANI): Former boxing champ Mike Tyson has revealed that he threw his first punch over a dead pigeon.
Tyson, 44, explains in ‘Taking On Tyson’, a new three-part programme on the Discovery channel, how when he was just 10, he was confronted by a thug who killed one of his prize “tippler” pigeons.
“The guy ripped the head off my pigeon. This was the first thing I ever loved in my life, the pigeon,” the Telegraph quoted him as saying.
The thug’s action enraged Tyson so much that he responded by throwing his first punch. (ANI)
