Mike Tyson says Hangover role turned his life around
January 20th, 2010 - 1:53 pm ICT by ANILondon, Jan 20 (ANI): Boxing legend Mike Tyson says his role in comedy film ‘The Hangover’ turned his life around.
Tyson played himself in the 2009 hit, and he insists the job offer and the fun he had onset has helped him get sober, following a series of alcohol and drug-related arrests.
“(The movie) started me on a good path to a healthy life,” the Daily Star quoted him as telling Daily Variety.
While speaking backstage at the Golden Globe awards, Tyson also revealed how director Todd Phillips convinced him to take the role.
He joked, “Todd said to me, ‘This is going to be the biggest movie, you’re going to get so many girls, you’ll never see the like of it again.” (ANI)
