mikeMay 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Saturday night the UFC 114 fight between Mike Russow and Todd Duffee turned out to be dramatic as one of the most promising mixed martial arts fighter Todd Duffee suffered a loss at the hands of Mike Russow. Though the former showed some brilliant moves in the first two rounds and it seemed that he would no doubt win the game, the third round became fatal as Mike Russow who conserved his energy in the first two round went on to deliver a punch that knocked Todd Duffee to the ground and ended the game in the former’s favor.

At the beginning of the game, Todd Duffee went on to land some right hooks and uppercuts on his opponent. Mike Russow on his part though could not manage many punches and takedown, was able to stand the blows of Todd Duffee having a background of wrestling to his credit. However, towards the end of the first round it seemed that Todd Duffee had suffered some loss of energy. In the second round as well Todd Duffee delivered some nice shots and tackled four take down attempts by Mike Russow. The pace and movement of Todd Duffee however signaled to his decreasing level of energy. In the third round, Mike Russow took the upper hand and just few minutes in to the game he went for a heavy punch that knocked down Todd Duffee. The referee Josh Rosenthal stopped the play at 2:35 of the third round.
