mikeDec. 01, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Mike Mckenzie was re-signed into the New Orleans Saints roster last week, on account of a number of injuries that the players suffered form in the team. A huge number of the players in the team were benched, including some of the key matchmakers like running back Reggie Bush, Jabari Greer, Tracy Porter and wide receiver Lance Moore.

Mike had been incorporated in the team after a span of over a year. He used to play for the team in 2008, but suffered a knee injury in November, following which he had been sidetracked. He was the star corner back of the team, with the record of starting 62 out of 63 games and the great achievement of having made 225 tackles, 12 interceptions, defensing 58 passes and one forced tumble. Before being replaced, he had played with the New Orleans Saints for three years. It was widely believed that the injury might mark the end of his career, as they had for many other players before him.

Surprisingly, despite the long hiatus, Mike McKenzie had retained his form. In his very first match after the sabbatical, he delivered a very good game against the Patriots. In the first half itself, he intercepted a pass by the Patriots corner back Tom Brady. In the second half, he broke down a fourth down pass against by the Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss. He was obviously very happy to be back in the roster, if anything ids to be judged from what he said. He admitted that he felt like a Saint, and did not want to play with any other team.
