Michael Clarke is Vodafone’s new brand ambassador
June 3rd, 2010 - 5:47 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, June 3 (ANI): Lara Bingle has been replaced by her ex-fiance Aussie cricketer Michael Clarke in a sponsorship deal.
The Australian model, who was dumped by Clarke earlier this year after her involvement in a nude photograph scandal, was dropped from her 200,000 dollars Vodafone contract late last year.
The mobile phone company has announced Clarke’s new role as ambassador and his contract is worth five times more than Bingle’s, reports News.com.au.
Clarke and his cricket teammates attended a press conference for Vodafone as it announced its sponsorship role in the Ashes series.
Bingle also lost other modelling and sponsorship contracts following her split from Clarke. (ANI)
