June 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The FIFA World Cup 2010 Group A game between Mexico and Uruguay will be held today at Rusternburg, South Africa. Although both the teams have equal scores at present with one draw and one win to their sides, it would be wrong to say that they would go for a draw a second time.
Both the teams have voiced that they would like to win the Group A game and are in no mood to let their opponent win. Even If the two teams go for a draw they will be in the game with other 14 teams at the knock-out round of 16 teams carrying five points each. However if the game is a draw, Uruguay will win the Group A game on the goal counts.
The Coach of the Mexican team Javier Aguirre dismissed in front of the media sources the rumor that the team might go for a draw on Tuesday. He said that the team will be playing to get another win on their side. The Mexican team will be there without striker Carlos Vela and defender Efrain Juarez.
The team Uruguay as well has voiced the same maintaining that they will take the field with the same set of players who have won the game against South Africa and win the game to avoid latter trouble with scores. Uruguay striker Diego Forlan has said to media sources reportedly that he hopes that the team will be able to win the game and also pass the knockout stage to remain in the game till the finals.
However in the result of the Mexico-Uruguay game depends the fate of the French team. If the game is a draw then France moves out of the tournament and if any of the two team wins then France will be left with a chances to remain in the tournament, even if dim.
