Matthew Stafford makes it big with Detroit Lions
April 26th, 2009 - 12:43 am ICT by GD ( Leave a comment )Young John Matthew Stafford has been able to make a mark in American football at a very young age. He is just 21. He has joined the Detroit Lions and is all prepared to find a cure for what the Lions were missing for such a long time. Stafford ability to answer a volley of questions from the reporters with a confident air is truly amazing. In addition to this he is very forthcoming in taking the responsibility of the moves of his team.
Matthew Stafford will be the draft’s No. 1 pick and this will certainly boost his career as the player of NFL. Many, who have been following the terrific career graph of Stafford, will know that he was one of the best Georgia quarterbacks and reached new heights after three collegiate seasons.
On 24th of April this year, Stafford reached an agreement with the Detroit Lions. The Lions have been finally able to spot “the man” after their frustrating search for a fitting quarterback. The best thing about Stafford is that he knows what he is doing.
Even at this young age he is not getting all blown over with the huge amount of money that is associated with such high profile assignments. He wants to learn his game well rather than think about the money. Stafford knows what he wants from his life. He believes that if he has to fulfill his dream of staying at the top of the game for more than 10 years then he will have to stay true to his abilities.
