matt-flynnDec 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Matt Flynn might be one of the youngest quarterbacks in his team, but it seems like, he is getting deadlier than anyone else when it comes to making the final play. Although the Green Bay Packers lost to the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, with a marginal score of 31-27, one cannot deny that it was Matt Flynn who struggled the hardest for his team.

He did everything that he could to mark the most remarkable start of the NFL against the New England Patriots, with 251 throwing yards and three touchdowns, completing 24-of-37 passes. However, although his performance was extremely significant, he said that at the end of the game, they lost it despite putting in the best of his effort. This naturally disappointed the player a lot. He said that the senior quarterback of the team, Aaron Rodgers has been a great help to him, as he asked him to not to lose his temper, have fun and trust his instincts. That is what inspired him to perform so significantly in the match. In the third quarter, when the Patriot’s defensive back Kyle Arrington met with a 26 yard interception, Matt Flynn tossed a 6-yard Touch Down pass to John Kuhn, to elevate the score to 24-21.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy appreciated his efforts and said that they have come to the NFL ground to win, and it was Matt Flynn who contributed the most. He also said that considering the big stage like NFL, and an opponent like the New England Patriots, his performance was rather remarkable.
