Jan 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The New York Jets lost the game on Sunday to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but that did not stop the press from training their cameras on them. However, the publicity was for all the wrong reasons. Just as the first quarter of the game was coming to a close with the Pittsburgh Steelers hovering on the red line, Mark Sanchez, the Jets quarterback, chose the precise moment to pick his nose as he stood in the sidelines. That is not where the show ended. As the cameras zeroed in to capture this unexpected bit of news, the quarterback continued to entertain them by picking on fellow Jets member, Mark Brunell, the backup quarterback of the team, to wipe what he had dug out.

Mark Sanchez might have assumed that no one was looking, and neither had he let Mark Brunell into the secret. He could not have been more wrong. As it is, a game during the AFC Championships always manages to attract hordes of news-people; a game between two of the best teams was understandably thronged. Needless to say, Mark Sanchez’s little act of carelessness was clicked and captured by numerous cameras, and it also goes without saying that the video was almost instantly broadcast.

Mark Sanchez definitely managed to gain all the attention that probably no player has garnered doing little more than just standing on the sidelines while a game is full throttle in progress. The video has understandably gained viral status on the net, with all the sites reporting this gross but nice little bit of news alongside reports of the actual game.
