Atlanta, Dec. 06, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Saturday night was special for the fans of the Alabama Crimson Tide as their team defeated the Florida Gators on the SEC Championship game. The game played in Atlanta’s Georgia Dome had some thrilling moments that entertained the crowds that gathered to see the match. Alabama Crimson Tide has played well in the game and scored 32 in spite of Florida Gators’ strong defense line up. Though Alabama’s win was a complete team effort and offense as well as defense played well, Mark Ingram Sr.’s son, Mark Ingram Jr.’s performance in the match deserve special mention.

The points added by the young player Mark Ingram in the game made a huge difference in the final score of the team and helped them win the match against their strong opponent Florida Gators. He must have been happy after scoring three touchdowns in the game that added to the score of his team and made it difficult for the opponents win the match. The player did not stop with touchdowns and rushed for one hundred and thirteen yards, that lead to the final score of 32-13.

With this win, the Alabama Crimson Tide not only added a win against Gators but also replaced them from the number one position. Mark Ingram’s game helped the team in getting back their number one ranking in the game and earn the opportunity to play in the BCS game in January. Though all players of the team played well, Mark Ingram was highly appreciated for his game and now he has become one of the strong contenders for the Heisman Trophy.
