Tuscaloosa, Ala., October 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Mark Ingram Jr., the Alabama halfback gave a remarkable performance in the match against North Carolina and helped the team win. Alabama Crimson had dominated in the match and did not allow South Carolina to make much moves in the match. The final score of the match read Alabama Crimson 20 while South Carolina was restricted to 6. Ingram had made a significant contribution in winning the match and rushed for 246 yards. It was the highest score of his career and helped the team win.

Apart from the outstanding performance of Mark Ingram, the other thing that was noticeable in the game of Alabama was that the team did not allow their opponents to remain in the end zone. All the players of Alabama Crimson had played strategically in the match and it was quite impossible for the South Carolina to dominate them.

The match had been quite disappointing for the South Carolina as they were unable to utilize much skills. South Carolina team had talented players in their line-up. They had tried to make a comeback in the match but it was futile as Alabama had already taken the upper hand in the match. Nick Saban, the coach of Alabama Crimson was satisfied with the performance of the team. In his speech after the match, he had praised Mark Ingram for his outstanding rush. He had also praised the other players of the team including Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. Mark Ingram was happy with his performance and said,”That drive was probably the best drive we had all game as an offense”. Alabama Crimson in their coming matches is expected to keep up their performance.
