October 13, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Marissa Miller, the model for Sports Illustrated and Victoria’s Secret model has a brand new job now. That of the spokesperson for the National Football League. She has also been named as the ‘Superfan’! FOX news reported this incredulous piece of news and added that she would be the spokesperson for the current season of 2010-2011.

The 30 year old Miler is a self proclaimed fan of the 49ers. She stated that she was excited beyond reason to get this unique opportunity of partnering with the NFL. She also added that she had grown up watching football all through her life.

The vice president of the International National Football League, Chris Parsons admitted that it was her love for football as well as for their brand of the sport which had made her a first choice. Parsons also said that the officials were looking forward to their association with Miler.

Miller, the supermodel is all set to initiate her promotion of the special events on the last day of October this year. The event in question is the International Series to be played between the Denver Broncos and the San Francisco 49ers which will take place in London.

Marissa Miller is taking her new role quite seriously as she has been reportedly keen on gaining a number of new fans during her tour to the UK and the rest of Europe. She is also quite determined to show the Englishmen how incredible the game of American Football can be.

The promotions for the international Series has been planned around Miller where she is going to be shown sporting the Broncos gear as well as the vintage outfit for the 49ers. The spate of promotions will include Miller in both the print as well as the television commercials.
