Maradona leaves Dubai hospital after surgery
January 17th, 2012 - 12:10 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Dubai, Jan 16 (IANS/WAM) Argentine soccer legend Diego Maradona has been released from the Canadian Specialist Hospital in Dubai after a successful surgery for removing a kidney stone.
Maradona left the hospital in good health and may recuperate at home for a day, after which he will resume normal work as coach of Dubai’s Al-Wasl club, said a club spokesman Monday.
A hospital official said Maradona was admitted Sunday. The ureteroscopic stone removal surgery was performed by Yassir Jassim, specialist urologist and head of the urology department at the hospital.
