ab5Arlington, March 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Manny Pacquiao won championship match of the World Boxing Organization Welterweight championship. The Cow Boy Stadium on Saturday night saw a crowd like never before who cheered with every round and punches the players put forward to win the game. The heat seemed to be rising every second within the indoor stadium as the Welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao fought with Joshua Clottey of Ghana. The game which continued for 12 rounds saw some real play from the world champion Manny Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao, who is ranked number one in the pound-for-pound boxing, started round 1 with three jabs. He put to test his opponent’s fighting skill and also showed some of his as he managed well Joshua Clottey’s punches. Manny Pacquiao delivered a left which made Joshua Clottey stagger a bit and fight back with a left which Manny Pacquiao defended with left and right punches. Until the round 4, Joshua Clottey maintained his defense technique and many guessed that the fighter is trying to tire out the world champion. In the following three rounds some more action was seen as the Ghanaian player delivered some punches and tried to trap Manny Pacquiao in the rope. However, Manny Pacquiao was able to come out of the traps. From the sixth round onwards, Manny Pacquiao had the lead which he ensured at the end of the game.

For the rest of the rounds, while Joshua Clottey tried to deliver some hooks, the world champion was able to retain his title with the unanimous decision turning to his favor at the end. The over crowded stadium cheered to the win of the champion.
