Manny Harris Ann Arbor, Jan 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Michigan’s Manny Harris has been suspended by his coach John Beilein, for his unsportsmanlike conduct during practice. John Beilein announced the suspension before the Wolverine’s game at Purdue. He also issued a statement that Manny Harris used very poor judgment on Friday, and he also said very strictly that ‘it would be best for Manny’s future if he didn’t play’. It was not clear what was the ‘unsportsmanlike conduct’, which triggered off the suspension.

Coach John Beilein stated in a statement that, “Manny has made great strides both on and off the court over the last three years. Unfortunately he used poor judgment on Friday. It is best for Manny’s future if he stays home and sits out this Purdue game. We will meet with Manny and the team again when we return to determine if he has learned enough from this suspension to rejoin the team for Tuesday’s game. I am confident that this learning experience will be valuable in the future to both Manny and our basketball program.”

Manny Harris has played in more than 80 straight games for the Wolverines. Harris is a top scorer for the Big Ten as he scored around 19.2 points per game.
