Manipur top medals tally with 14 wushu gold
February 16th, 2011 - 7:14 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Feb 16 (IANS) Manipur Wednesday topped the medals tally by winning 14 of the 40 gold on offer in wushu, a form of martial arts, in the ongoing National Games here.In wushu, Manipur lead with 14 gold, seven silver and six bronze followed by Delhi who have 10 gold, five bronze and five silver. Madhya Pradesh and Haryana won six gold medals each.
Of the total 138 medals in wushu, Manipur won 27 followed by Delhi and Madhya Pradesh at 20 each.
In the overall medals tally, Manipur top with 19 gold, 10 silver and 12 bronze. Delhi and Madhya Pradesh are on second and third position with 16 and 15 gold medals.
