Manavjit traps silver, gold at Asian Clay Shooting
March 31st, 2010 - 6:39 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 31 (IANS) Manavjit Singh won the silver medal and helped the Indian team bag the gold in the men’s trap event at the Asian Clay Shooting Championships in Bangkok Wednesday.
According to information received here, Manavjit shot 120 in the qualifying and 18 in the final. The Indian team comprising Manavjit Singh (120), Mansher Singh (110) and Birendeep Singh (111) won the team gold with a score of 341 out of possible 375.
In the women’s trap event, the Indian team comprising Shreyasi Singh (58), Seema Tomar (54) and Varsha Tomar (54) won the bronze medal in team event.
