London, Jul 28 (ANI): Manchester United new signing Javier Hernandez, who was used to playing his club heroes before this week on a PlayStation console, will now play with them in reality.

Hernandez said: “To play with people like Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes will be incredible for me. I have only ever played with them on my PlayStation game.”

“When I was growing up I would also watch them on TV. I dreamed one day I would play with them and now it will be a reality,” The Sun quoted him, as syaing.

Hernandez, a six million pounds signing from Mexican side Chivas, joined up with his new teammates in Houston on Monday and could play some part in tonight’s game against the MLS All-Stars.

There are 950,000 people of Mexican descent in this city and there is high expectation of the striker making a debut outing.

Hernandez, who has asked for his nickname Chicharito to appear on the back of his shirt, said: “I do not feel any pressure, just motivation. It is an honour for me to be at this club and I want to accomplish important things with them.” (ANI)
