London, Jan.1 (ANI): Manchester United’s demolition of Wigan is a warning the champions are getting back to their best, says Michael Carrick.
Man U moved within two points and two goals of leaders Chelsea with the 5-0 Old Trafford thrashing.
The Sun quoted Carrick,as saying: “Two points difference is not the end of world for us. We’re pretty comfortable with where we are. We are experienced enough to be patient.
“We know with the run-in, and everyone fit and playing consistently, we’ve a chance. The team has changed a lot in recent weeks but it’s about getting through it and picking up as many points as possible,” he added.
“We played some terrific football against Wigan and looked like the team we know we can be,” he said. (ANI)
