London, Nov.29 (ANI): Dimitar Berbatov has credited Wayne Rooney for firing him up to score five goals out of the seven that led to Manchester United’s 7-1 hammering of Blackburn.
Asked whether it was good to have Rooney back as a strike partner, The Sun quoted Berbatov, as saying: “Of course it’s good. He’s the type of player who knows how I play and I know how he plays.”
Manager Alex Ferguson dropped Berbatov the previous Saturday against Wigan due to poor form. (ANI)
