London, Oct 3(ANI): Chelsea captain John Terry has said that seeing Manchester United’s win back to back Premier League trophies has ripped him and fellow teammates Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba apart.
Manchester United are also the Club World Cup holders and the 2008 FIFA Club World Cup.
“To see Man United lift the trophy for the last three years has torn me up inside. Lampard would say the same thing and Drogba,” The Sun quoted Terry, as saying.
“We are winners. We hated seeing Man United lifting the trophy,” he added.
Chelsea will play Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, and will be looking forward to get the Blues back to their best after last week’s shock 3-1 defeat against Wigan Athletic. (ANI)
