Man U stars visit children’s hospital in Manchester

London, Dec 24(ANI): Several Manchester United’s stars, including strikers Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen visited a children’s hospital in Manchester on Wednesday.

United’s players were at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, which is a beneficiary of the club’s charity partner, the New Children’s Hospital Appeal, where they also met two young face-painted patients, The Daily Star reported.

Rooney and Owen were accompanied with wingers Ji-Sung Park, Gabriel Obertan defender Jonny Evans.

The club’s support has also helped raise 80,000 pounds for parental accommodation for parents visiting their sick children at the centre. (ANI)
