London, Feb.6 (ANI): Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson has said the club players blew their chances of expanding their Premier League lead by losing to the Wolves. The Molineux men stunned the table-toppers, ending their 29-game unbeaten run.Nani put United into a third-minute lead but Wolves stormed back and goals from George Elokobi and Kevin Doyle won it. The Sun quoted a fuming Fergie, as saying: “It was an opportunity. I said before the game, I do think Wolves are in a false position. But we had a great start. We made a lot of chances, particularly in the first half. Then in the second we were not at the races. Their keeper did not have many saves to make. The pitch was not very good but we didn’t make anything.” (ANI)
