Man U star Nani facing million pound lawsuit launched by his brother
March 8th, 2011 - 6:22 pm ICT by ANILondon, Mar 8(ANI): Manchester United winger Nani is set for a courtroom battle with his brother, who claims that the Portuguese international broke a contract and left him penniless.
According to the Sun, Jose Almeida has launched a million pound claim, and the two will fight it out in a Portuguese court next month.
Nani had reportedly asked Jose to work for him when he signed for United in 2007. Jose closed his real estate business and moved to England, but he claims that Nani failed to honour the agreement
“Jose gave up everything for Nani. Everything was fine at first but then Nani stopped paying him. Jose can’t believe his brother could treat him like that,” the tabloid quoted a source, as saying.
“He’s been left with no choice but to take Nani to court to get what he is entitled to,” he added. (ANI)
