Man City midfielder Vincent Kompany urges fans to create `blue hell’ for Man U
January 19th, 2010 - 2:15 pm ICT by ANILondon, Jan.19 (ANI): Manchester City midfielder Vincent Kompany has called on club fans to turn Eastlands into a ‘blue hell’ tonight for bitter rivals Manchester United.
City host the Red Devils in the first leg of the Carling Cup semi-final.
“We’re as excited as the fans. One thing they can do for us is make the place a blue hell - we’ll take care of the rest,” the 23-year-old Belgian star said.
“You can have your nice cars and big house with all the trappings but what you will be remembered for once you retire is what you have won. It doesn’t get any bigger than Manchester United in the cup,” he added. (ANI)
