London, Oct.13 (ANI): Manchester City coach Mark (Sparky) Hughes is planning to recruit Brazil full-back Maicon for a reported sum of 20-million pounds when bidding opens in January.
According to the Daily Express, City also hopes to land another Brazil international, Benfica midfielder Ramires, for 25 million pounds next summer if they fail to recruit Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery.
Boss Mark Hughes has up to 100 million pounds to spend when the transfer window reopens, but feels his team now needs only a little fine tuning.
Inter Milan’s Maicon is on the hit-list, as he is rated one of the world’s best full-backs. (ANI)
