Feb 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Even though late by a span of two years, police have ultimately found out the culprit responsible for the transmission interruption during the 2009 Super Bowl game. Police on Friday arrested Frank Tanori Gonzalez for having allegedly inserting a hard core pornographic clip while the transmission of the game was going on. Sources have revealed that the Arizona man had used a computer for interrupting the local telecast of the 2009 game.
Two years ago ardent football fans in the Tucson area received a severe jolt as they encountered a full 37 seconds pornographic clip while they were engrossed watching the match that was being played by the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers. From where the porn clip popped up remained a mystery and audiences were left simply clueless. Although the allegation against Frank Tanori Gonzalez is not a confirmed, FBI and Marana police suspect him to be responsible for the notorious activity. The accused has been taken into police custody on suspicion of fraud and computer tampering. Records have shown that the suspect was a long time employee of the Cox Communications who at that time was acting as its supervisor. Cable provider Comcast who was broadcasting the game said that the clip appeared to some suburban customers who were watching the game on a low-definition service.
The display of the porn clip named “Wild Cherries 5″ had led Comcast to offer a $10 credit to all its 80,000 subscribers irrespective of the fact whether they had seen it or not. The matter which was handed to the police now has finally unveiled its mystery. Authorities, however, chose not to disclose what enabled them to nab Frank Tanori Gonzalez.
