Lucky to still be in Chelsea job: Ancelotti

London, Jan 5 (ANI): Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has said that he is lucky to still be in a job at the club.
Ancelotti takes Chelsea to Wolves tonight having seen them earn just 10 points from the last 30 and drop out of the top four in the Premier League.
“I am a lucky man. I understand that a lot of coaches would be sacked with these results,” The Sun quoted him, as saying.
However, he believes he should be assessed at the end of the season, when he hopes to win the Champions League.
Ancelotti lifted the trophy four times at AC Milan, twice as a player and twice as a manager, but it is the one, which has consistently got away from Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.
“When you go to a restaurant, you have to pay the bill when you finish your meal and it’s the same here. We have to pay the bill at the end of the season. At the end the club can judge my job and everything,” he said.
“The best food would be the Champions League. I tasted it sometimes. It’s a good food,” Ancelotti said.
Chelsea won the Double last season.
He said: “We have to think now we can win the title again, but the most important thing is to stay in the places to be in the Champions League.”
Chelsea remained fifth in the Premier League after conceding an injury-time equaliser at home to Aston Villa on Sunday. (ANI)
