Lorenzen Wright Reported Missing

July 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former NBA player Lorenzen Wright has been reported missing since Sunday. The authorities have confirmed that his family have confirmed the report on Thursday. His sister said that the player was supposed to fly out of the city this week but they have not seen him since Sunday. Investigators have ruled out chances of foul play.
Lorenzen Wright was drafted 7th overall in the NBA Drafts 1996. He was picked by the Los Angeles Clippers and went on to play 13 seasons. His lat season was with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2008-2009. He averaged 8 points with 6.4 rebounds as a professional. The 6′11″, 34 year old is also the founder of Sierra Simone Wright Scholarship Fund. He founded the organization after the death of his infant daughter in March 2003.
Some reports indicate that Lorenzen Wright was undergoing some financial problems recently. His home was reportedly foreclosed in May this year. He is also a free agent in the NBA at the moment. He acquired a significant fan base as early as his high school when he played at all the levels in Memphis. He went on to play at all the levels for the city. After he became a pro, he and three other players, who were natives of Memphis, also provided financial help to Travis Butler. Travis Butler was an orphan in Memphis and his tragic life story attracted great media attention at the time. The 9 year old feared the discovery of his dead mother and lived with her corpse for a month. Lorenzen Wright charitable side was seen throughout his NBA career.
