London, Apr.18 (ANI): Steven Gerrard will miss Liverpool’s crunch clash with Arsenal on Tuesday as he is down with a groin injury.Gerrard suffered a recurrence in the Reds’ final training session before the game, preventing him from even taking a place on the bench.
He may be even in doubt for the trip to Hull four days later.A Liverpool insider told The Sun: “In the training session before the Champions League game with Chelsea, Steven aggravated a strain he had previously suffered in his adductor muscle. A scan has since confirmed our medical team’s initial diagnosis and the player is expected to be out for between seven and 10 days.” (ANI)
