Leonardo DiCaprio honours inspirational Paul Newman

Washington, October 1 (ANI): Actor Leonardo DiCaprio has said that the late legendary actor Paul Newman will remain a mentor to all actors for leading an inspirational life.

The Titanic heartthrob remembered the Hollywood legend, who died of cancer at his Connecticut residence on September 26, for his bar-raising acting skills and his philanthropic efforts.

He is the ultimate role model for us as actors, because he was somebody that not only [was] at the top of his field talent-wise and did great pieces of art that will last forever, but also led a normal life and was a good person, Fox News quoted DiCaprio as telling the Pop Tarts.

He said: “He was philanthropic and gave back, and what more could you ask for in a lifetime or a man?

Hes inspirational he’’s the bar that everyone looks up to as far as what you want your life to be like in this business.

In the line of other high-profile Hollywood members set to pay tribute Newman are been Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, Danny DeVito and Bruce Willis.

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old DiCaprio has revealed that he will soon reunite with former co-star Kate Winslet for Revoloutionary Road.

We have remained the closest of friends she is the best actress of our generation, DiCaprio said.

I knew we could push each others buttons performance-wise, so I jumped at the opportunity to work with Kate again, he added. (ANI)
